With this series I worked on about 30 paintings at one time. They were small in size, about 12” x 12”. I found it energizing to work on these all at one time, I painted outside and laid the canvases out a tarp horizontally.

There was both an unexpected and expected outcome each time I hit the canvas with my brush. I find that combination to create a really dynamic composition and energy in the paintings.
