Custom textiles—a wonderful adventure

It has been a wonderful adventure, creating and selling custom textiles and scarves—and now it’s time to move on to my next adventures.

View custom textiles and scarves that I’ve created over the years

  • Initially I translated the liquidity of my paintings to free flowing scarves. I hand painted these creations on beautiful silk.

  • Next, this led me to having these silk scarves produced overseas, by an amazing silk manufacturer in the Hangzhou region of China, know for their exquisite silk craftsmanship. I worked with this manufacturer for over 10 years.

  • I was inspired to push these textiles even further, by becoming a licensee of various universities and corporations; including Google, Mozilla Firefox, Stanford University and my alma mater University of Georgia.

  • Over the course of many years, I worked with wonderful people, creating and handling the resale of these items.

  • I’m proud of the products that I created and also I appreciate all the people I met and worked with along the way.

After reflecting on my next steps with art and painting, I’ve decided to close the division of my textile creations and distributions. I pause and reflect back on all that I learned along the way. I feel very fortunate.

And I’m excited to see what will come next in its place.

I’ve already begun working with art advisors that are licensing my artwork for reproduction for the hospitality industry and for corporations. I find this an exciting way to share my artwork even further. To see some of these examples, visit:
